Job summary

Invest West Management, LLC, based in Vancouver, WA, is looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician I - Apprentice to join our Maintenance team. This hands-on role supports general repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready work across residential properties, with on-the-job training offered.

Starting pay is $21.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE) with full-time hours in Vancouver, WA. We value problem-solving, a willingness to learn, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• One year of construction, general labor, or maintenance experience preferred, but not required
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, smartphones, and mobile applications
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic tools and repairs
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new skills
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between properties and respond to after-hours maintenance needs
• This position involves physical maintenance work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working indoors and outdoors, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance & Repairs: Assist with work orders, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general property repairs
• Preventative Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct routine inspections, identify concerns, and assist with preventative maintenance
• Property Turnovers & Make-Ready: Prepare vacant homes for new residents through cleaning, touch-ups, and minor repairs
• Work Orders & Communication: Update work orders, document repairs, and communicate with residents and team members
• Safety & Equipment Care: Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment

Your Role in Property Maintenance
