Job summary

Cuisine Solutions, a premium, fully-cooked frozen food manufacturer, seeks a Maintenance Technician at our Sterling, VA facility. Earn $28-$30 per hour working 6am-3pm, 3pm-12am or 11pm-7am in a safe, high-end environment and join a team recognized for quality and innovation.

Maintenance Techs ensure efficient operation of processing and packaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, read electrical schematics, and follow preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Maintain high-speed processing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Complete maintenance records and follow LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain operating condition of production and processing machinery and surrounding equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics, motors, pumps, conveying systems and cooking equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning components of processing equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and manufacturer manuals to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for machinery in the facility.
• Document maintenance records, work orders and tasks accurately and timely.
• Perform Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and understand control systems.
• Setup, Start-Up, Adjust and Operation of Equipment; proper shutdown and changeover per company standards.

WORKING HOURS

6am-3pm , 3pm-12am or 11pm-7am at the Sterling Plant; 22445 Sous Vide Lane Sterling, VA 20166

Job Responsibilities

Maintenance Techs will ensure the efficient and reliable operation of high speed and complex processing and packaging equipment. This includes troubleshooting, problem identification, maintaining, testing, installing and conducting all mechanical repairs on all of the processing and packaging equipment.

• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of production and processing machinery and surrounding equipment, this would include but not limited to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics, motors, pumps, conveying system, cooking equipment , etc..
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning components of processing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics as well as manufacturers maintenance manuals to determine proper operation.
• Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for machinery in facility.
• Complete accurately and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records.
• Be able to perform all Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Good mechanical aptitude and operation knowledge of control systems.
• Effective troubleshooting skills and systematically diagnose mechanical or electrical problems
• Setup, Start-Up, Adjust and Operation of Equipment; Proper Shutdown and Changeover as required by company standards and to minimize downtime
