Job summary

Watson Custom Tanks in Springfield, MO is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician I to join our Facilities Maintenance team. This hands-on role maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, and facility systems that support manufacturing operations.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, inspect components for wear, and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and air systems while utilizing welding and fabrication skills as needed. This position runs Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery (manufacturing environment).
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V three-phase.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience.
• Ability to use fabrication/metalworking equipment (lathes, drill presses, grinders, measuring tools).
• Welding experience preferred; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Safely work with tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment
• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
