Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support villa care and guest services at our Hawaii location. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and respond to guest repair requests to ensure a memorable stay for owners and guests.

Responsibilities

• Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned. (i.e. Basic Painting; Basic Repairs such as replacing lightbulbs. Performs temperature readings on appliances/HVAC, etc.)
• Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.
• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $34.61

Hourly Wage: $34.61

$500 SIGN ON BONUS

This bonus is for new hires. Internal candidates, college programs, rehires and managers are excluded. Payments are in $250 increments at 90 and 180 days, paid on the following paycheck. If eligible, you must be actively employed and actively performing services for the Company on the applicable eligibility date at the time the payment is made.

Job Status - Casual (0-19 / hours per week)

Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of cleaning driving history.
