Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support a high‑volume industrial laundry facility in Houston. The role focuses on repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers while performing preventive maintenance and documenting activities.

The position requires English maintenance literature literacy, blueprint reading, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitoring.
• Resolve safety concerns and promote safe work practices.
• Care for indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintain maintenance records.
• Monitor inventory and assist with parts stock and ordering.

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory suppliesand maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
