Job summary

Campus Apartments seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain building systems across our Florida properties. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to diagnose, repair, and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service and safety awareness. On-site work, on-call rotation, and hands-on problem solving are everyday parts of this position.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill service requests promptly as assigned.
• Complete daily rounds and inspect mechanical equipment and safety concerns.
• Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and heating system repairs.
• Prep/turn of vacant units/suites.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Light carpentry and drywall touch-ups.
• Touch up painting.
• On-call duties after hours as assigned.
• General cleanliness of interior and exterior of the property.
• Address life-safety issues immediately.

Responsibilities

The HVAC Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for assisting in the proper physical and mechanical upkeep of the property.

• Fulfill customer service requests promptly as assigned
• Complete daily rounds and check mechanical equipment, recreational facilities and any other functional or safety concerns
• Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and heating system repairs
• Prep/turn of vacant units/suites
• Pick up/clean grounds and common areas
• Light carpentry work
• Drywall repairs and finish work
• Touch up painting
• Take after hours "on call" duties as assigned
• General cleanliness and upkeep of interior and exterior of the property
• Immediate attention to areas posing risks to life safety of residents and customers (fire alarms, trip hazards, etc.)
