Job summary

Campus Apartments is seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team. You will perform mechanical upkeep, respond to service requests, and help keep our properties safe and comfortable for residents.

You hold a high school diploma, HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license and insurance, and you bring strong diagnostic and customer service skills to every task.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• HVAC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and active automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer service requests promptly as assigned.
• Complete daily rounds and check mechanical equipment and safety concerns.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC and heating system repairs.
• Prep/turn of vacant units/suites.
• Clean grounds and common areas; light carpentry and drywall finish work.
• Touch up painting and basic maintenance tasks.
• Take after-hours on-call duties as assigned.
• Ensure life-safety systems and areas are addressed promptly.

The HVAC Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for assisting in the proper physical and mechanical upkeep of the property.

• Fulfill customer service requests promptly as assigned
• Complete daily rounds and check mechanical equipment, recreational facilities and any other functional or safety concerns
• Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and heating system repairs
• Prep/turn of vacant units/suites
• Pick up/clean grounds and common areas
• Light carpentry work
• Drywall repairs and finish work
• Touch up painting
• Take after hours “on call” duties as assigned
• General cleanliness and upkeep of interior and exterior of the property
• Immediate attention to areas posing risks to life safety of residents and customers (fire alarms, trip hazards, etc.)
• High school diploma
• HVAC certification
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
