Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, electrical repairs, HVAC, and minor plumbing repairs.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and systems to minimize downtime.
  • Supervise contractors and vendors when necessary.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders and inventory management (Close By Jobs & Appfolio).
  • Primary working location will be in Houston, TX, with occasional visits to Bryan, TX, approximately once a week.

Qualifications

  • Must have an EPA certification.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Clear background check (required).
  • Driver's License (required).
  • Ability to fabricate parts when needed.
  • Proficiency in residential painting techniques is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Job Details

  • Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $23.00-25.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift

Experience

  • Maintenance: Minimum 1 year required.

Additional Requirements

  • Relocate to Houston, TX before starting work.
  • Ability to commute to Houston, TX daily and Bryan, TX weekly.
