Job summary

Monroe Group LTD in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, appearance, and operation of our communities. The role includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance across buildings and units.

You will inspect properties, maintain curb appeal, manage Make-Ready boards, and handle materials purchasing within budget. A strong priority is delivering Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year maintenance experience incl HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Experience in affordable housing environment preferred.
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write).

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structure.
• Performs property and unit inspections.
• Maintains the property curb appeal and general cleanliness.
• Schedules and maintains Make-Ready Board.
• Purchasing materials & Budget Management.
• Ensure that maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all residents.
