Job summary

Advantix is seeking a Maintenance Technician in South Bend, IN to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and repairs to improve property quality. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required plus 4 years' maintenance experience.
• Valid Indiana driver's license required.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and property maintenance trades.
• Ability to read blueprints, perform repairs, and diagnose maintenance issues.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance work orders and repairs.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure and appliances.
• Communicates with Maintenance Supervisor and residents regarding status and issues.
• Performs property inspections and alerts supervisor of items needing attention.
• On-call and emergency maintenance work as required.
• Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
