Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, and repair boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, and related systems to ensure peak performance and efficiency. Hourly pay range: $35.00–$40.00/hr, with offers based on experience, skills, location, and market data.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, strong English communication, and 5–10 years of building maintenance experience. EPA 608 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
• 5 to 10 years of Building Maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building equipment to meet design capabilities and environmental conditions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment per ABM Engineering Services’ and manufacturers’ recommendations.
• Maintain a professional appearance of equipment and engineering spaces.
• Manage energy usage to keep operating costs to a minimum.
• Review building operations, preventive maintenance, energy management and equipment status regularly.
• Oversee HVAC Systems, Water Treatment Procedures, Electrical Equipment.
• Implement and manage Operational Manuals, Logs, Safety Program, Inventory Control, Preventive Maintenance Program, and Daily Engineering Log.
• Coordinate Work Order Procedures, Failure Analysis Procedures, Vendor Relations, Training Program, and Building Management Communications.
