Role Description

This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician / HVAC role is based in Chestnut Ridge, NY. The role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems and related facility equipment to support safe and consistent pharmaceutical operations. Daily activities include performing routine inspections, executing preventive maintenance tasks, responding to equipment and system breakdowns, and documenting all service activities in alignment with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The Maintenance Technician / HVAC professional will collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams to prioritize work orders, minimize downtime, and ensure optimal environmental controls in production and support areas. The role may also involve assisting with equipment installations, participating in safety and compliance audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for HVAC and facility systems.
• Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience executing Preventive Maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation controls, and relevant safety standards.
• Familiarity with GMP or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in HVAC or industrial maintenance is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site, adhere to safety protocols, and support shift or on-call coverage as needed.
