Qualifications

• Familiarity with superheat/subcooling charts, vacuum pumps, micron gauges, and voltmeters.
• Working knowledge of water source heat pumps and cooling towers.
• Responsibility, reliability, and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all air conditioning and refrigeration units throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest room air conditioning units.
• Promptly respond to front desk reports of guest room air condition concerns.

Skills

Basic understanding of Heating & Air Conditioning system operation

Ability to program and adjust thermostats

Electrical troubleshooting skills (24 volts and 208–230 volts)

Proficiency in checking system performance using temperature differential

What will you be doing?

Maintenance Technicians (HVAC) are responsible for performing repairs, preventative, and emergency maintenance services on Air Condition/heating, and Refrigeration Equipment including changing filters, washing/cleaning coils, condensate drains, traps, electrical troubleshooting, they play a vital role in maintaining a safe environment for both our guests and team members. Maintenance duties cover both the interior and exterior of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and grounds.

Maintenance Technician (HVAC) responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Inspects all air conditioning and refrigeration units throughout the hotel to ensure they are operating properly, efficiently, and safely
• Promptly responds to front desk reports of guest room air condition concerns,through the engineering department service program
• Performs preventive maintenance on guest room air conditioning units and other areas of the hotel, including restaurants, hallways, and common areas
• Maintains all storage areas, shops and mechanical areas in a clean, safe and secure manner, reporting to the Chief Engineer any corrective actions that need to be taken
• Keeps Chief Engineer promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so that prompt corrective action can be taken
• Provides sanitation duties as needed, such as taking out trash in designated areas
• Performs all job duties with a minimum of disruption to the guest
• Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?
