Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a full-time HVAC maintenance technician at Marana Detention Center in Marana, AZ. The role involves repairing and maintaining HVAC systems and supporting plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks according to directives.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED with HVAC training/licensing, US citizenship or permanent residency, and relevant maintenance experience. A valid driver's license is required.

• US citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required.
• One year of maintenance or related experience is highly desirable.
• Preservice training must be completed successfully.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
• Repair or replace faulty light fixtures, outlets and fuses as directed.
• Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork.
• Install window shades or coverings, security locks, etc.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, washers, seals, etc.
• Prepare surfaces for finishing, i.e., painting, as directed.
• Direct the work of detainees assigned to facility maintenance as appropriate.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC systems.
• Perform routine scheduled checks of HVAC systems.

What You Will Do

• Perform maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
• Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses as directed.
• Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork.
• Install window shades or coverings, security locks, etc.
• Perform repair or replacement of plumbing fixtures, washers, seals, etc.
• Help prepare surfaces for finishing, i.e., painting, as directed.
• Direct the work of detainees assigned to facility maintenance as appropriate.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC systems.

• Requires long periods of walking and standing.

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or GED, training and licensing in the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems required
• US Citizenship or Lawful US Permanent Resident required.
• General knowledge of repair and maintenance, and one (1) year of maintenance or related experience are highly desired.
• Must successfully complete preservice training.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
