Job summary

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A in Lincoln, NE seeks a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician for our Consumer Products manufacturing facility. The role includes diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and related systems to keep production equipment and utilities operational.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, documentation, and collaboration across shifts. Eligible for comprehensive benefits; ideal candidates hold an HVAC-related degree and EPA Type III

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in HVAC&R technology or similar with 3 years related experience.
  • EPA Section 608 Technician Certification - Type III preferred.
  • Experience installing and repairing electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating, burner, and air handling components.
  • Ability to understand ladder logic, industrial programmable controllers, and electrical power supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair defective equipment using prints, service manuals and parts catalogs.
  • Repair and maintain utilities and facility.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
  • Record repairs and maintenance with time in service, parts used, and completion status; communicate with other shifts as needed.
  • Complete project assignments considering time, cost, quality constraints and expectations.
  • May work on-call or emergency status or other shifts to accommodate production needs.
  • Follow safety rules and maintain cleanliness of work area.

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician at our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE.

Responsibilities Of Maintenance Technician - HVAC Can Include
  • Follow all company Policies and Procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply such as OSHA
  • Diagnose and repair defective equipment using prints, service manuals and parts catalogs
  • Repair and maintain utilities and facility
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently
  • Record repairs and maintenance performed, including other information such as time in service, parts used/needed and completion status. Communicating with other shifts as necessary, verbally or using computer templates
  • Complete project assignments as requested with consideration to time, cost, quality constraints and expectations
  • May work as an "on call" or "emergency call" status or on other shifts to accommodate production and departmental needs
  • Performs job duties in a safe and appropriate manner as well as follows all work and safety rules including any specialized safety and health training
  • Responsible for cleanliness of work area
Required Qualifications For Maintenance Technician - HVAC
  • Associates degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology OR similar degree with 3 years related experience
  • EPA Section 608 Technician Certification - Ideal candidates posses or can obtain, at a minimum, a Type III Certification
