Hilton Garden Inn Lebanon, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking a dependable, organized, and diligent Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for repairs, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems in the hotel.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, basic carpentry, and building systems
• Inspect and identify equipment or machines needing repair
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs
• Plan repair work using blueprints or manuals
• Perform general repairs (e.g., drywall, painting, doors, locks, fixtures)
• Conduct routine maintenance of building systems
• Implement preventative maintenance programs following standards and guidelines
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards
• Collaborate with supervisors on technical projects
• Respond promptly to work orders
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the facility
• Assist with Housekeeping and Shuttle Driver duties as needed
• Maintain building exteriors not serviced by contractors (e.g., snow removal, lawn care, painting)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance or related fields; hotel experience preferred
• Knowledge of kitchen and refrigeration equipment preferred
• Understanding of fire protection and safety systems preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Friendly interaction with guests
• Ability to work independently with high performance standards
• Good prioritization and time management skills
• Familiarity with computer software and property management systems
• Ability to work a 7-day rotational schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
