Maintenance Technician (Heat Treat 1st Shift M-F) (8507)

Position Summary

To provide preventive and reparative maintenance services to a manufacturing facility.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment
• Work with line operators to perform work when it least interferes with production needs
• Identify larger maintenance concerns and bring them to the attention of a supervisor
• Assist with Line Down diagnosis and repair
• Perform 5-S duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance projects as assigned
• Assist mechanics as requested
• Perform basic repairs identified during preventative maintenance within guidelines
• Perform intermediate or advanced repairs under supervision
• Operate a forklift or other lifts within guidelines
• Handle materials, including delivering/receiving parts outside of the company
• Communicate regularly with machine operators and supervisors
• Avoid tasks/repairs that would impact operations or create a line down situation
