Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service equipment in Belleville/Shiloh, IL, with emphasis on troubleshooting, repair, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires documenting actions and training on new equipment, while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. Candidate should have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be computer literate (MS Access/Excel/PowerPoint/Word).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years’ experience of maintenance construction field or more preferred.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder.
• Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required.
• Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable as a driver.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining related equipment; provides preventive maintenance.
• Facilitates repairs as required.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Test new equipment as directed.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Have some computer knowledge to email, and use forms that are computer related to Circle K.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.
