Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and inspections on an ongoing basis.

The role requires making-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and assisting in grounds upkeep. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certification are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certification is required.
• Experience performing routine maintenance and repairs on mid‑rise properties preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems from resident requests and complete tasks safely.
• Must have valid driver’s license for potential on‑site travel or golf-cart operation.

Responsibilities

• Process work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinate with vendors, and inspect work.
• Track materials, equipment, and inventory; notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service activities accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
