Job summary

Lineage is hiring for a First Shift Maintenance Technician in California. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, electrical systems, and refrigeration equipment, while following safety standards.

You will inspect, calibrate, and service mechanical and electrical assets, including material handling equipment, sensors, and automated systems, reporting findings to leadership daily.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience or combination of experience and trade school in one or more maintenance areas: building, material handling, or refrigeration (ammonia, Freon, CO2).
• Capable of completing preventative maintenance with instructions and minimal supervision.
• Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility.
• Possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with organizational skills.
• Able to work in temperatures from -20F/-25C to 100F/37C with PPE.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs./23 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Some locations require Working at Height knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inspection and calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all mechanical and electrical assets.
• At automated sites, perform preventive maintenance on switches and sensors and related testing equipment.
• Perform inspections and basic repairs of refrigeration system (ammonia, Freon and/or CO2).
• Perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment per manufacturer guidelines to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain reporting of inspections and maintenance activities to leadership daily.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Operate power tools and welding equipment as needed.
• Use onsite lift and rental equipment for maintenance tasks.
