Southern HealthCare Management is seeking a motivated Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of our facilities. You will assist in repairs, routine maintenance, and equipment installation while collaborating with a team dedicated to reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnosing issues, and using CMMS to document work orders. Strong mechanical skills and the ability to read technical manuals are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Experience with facilities maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Leadership skills to supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems.
• Supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance projects.
