Job summary

Pilgrim’s in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Tech. The role focuses on constructing, maintaining and testing mechanical equipment, with hourly pay between $27.24 and $36.44 and a $2.00 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling is a plus.
• 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
• Identify parts or machines needing replacement parts.
• Interpret equipment drawings to adjust, maintain or repair machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Respond to production requests to diagnose and fix mechanical issues.
• Work in assigned area during plant operations; document tasks and safety procedures.
