Job summary

Element Solutions, through its MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions segment, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and support plant productivity.

The role requires five to seven years of industrial maintenance experience, reading blueprints, and a safety-first approach, with willingness to overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5-7 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical procedures.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and make parameter adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, and material handling equipment.
• Perform fabrication and machining work using Tool Room machinery and fabrication equipment.
• Identify potential equipment issues and proactively communicate concerns to management and maintenance team members.
• Support equipment installation, startup, shutdown, and commissioning activities while following OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles.
• Report defective materials, unsafe conditions, and unusual operating situations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
