Golden Peanut in Dawson, GA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for a full-time, hourly W2 role. The position requires reliability, safety focus, and a commitment to building a lasting career. The schedule runs from 7:00am until released, typically around 3:00pm, with overtime, weekends, and on-call work as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with 3+ years of mechanical work experience, preferably in a factory/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MIG and Stick welding; Plasma Torch experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work overtime and be on call including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify equipment in need of repair and perform necessary repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair processing equipment (e.g., elevators, augers, shafts, bearings, reducers, sheaves).
• Use mechanical tools and fabrication equipment; weld as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow sanitation and documentation procedures.
• Be willing to be trained for various jobs within the facility.
