Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to monitor and maintain equipment, materials, and overall welfare of the facility at the Newnan site. You will handle maintenance requests, safety compliance, and coordinate with contractors to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires at least 1+ years of experience, with preferred experience in painting, sanding, and machining. High school diploma or GED is favored, and familiarity with vehicle repair tasks is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience.
• Prior painting, sanding, and machining experience preferred, supplemented by on-the-job training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, work methods, to become familiar with the company’s products, locations, machines and equipment, operating methods, and to attain proficiency requirements and to fully assume responsibilities of the job.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Responsible for alerting leaders of any unusual occurrence and/or damage within the facility.
• Schedules and/or completes preventative maintenance.
• Assures safety standards are followed which comply with all company, local, city, and State/Federal guidelines.
• Assist in monitoring work performed by outside contractors.
