Job summary

Heritage Cooperative in Nashport, OH is hiring a Maintenance Associate to support our facilities and equipment. This full-time role requires hands-on maintenance, preventative tasks, and safe operation of forklifts and other machinery.

You will follow safety policies, document work, assist with after-hours calls, and contribute to a clean, secure workplace while upholding our core values and commitment to customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
• Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Respectable mechanical skills.
• Ability to work safely on elevated platforms and manlifts.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative's Core Values.
• Provide Superior Customer Service.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and ensure the safety of oneself, coworkers, and customers.
• Complete paperwork and documentation.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a neat, clean, safe and secure manner.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, skid steers and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance duties such as greasing and inspections.
• Respond to after-hours calls for maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
