Job summary

Western States Lodging & Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Legacy Village of Provo to maintain and improve our property’s safety, function, and appearance. You’ll perform routine tasks, assist senior techs, and learn building systems with guidance from the team.

Ideal candidates are entry-level with basic maintenance knowledge, a willingness to learn, and a strong customer-service mindset to help residents and guests enjoy a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 years of maintenance, facilities, property operations, or related experience.
• Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance principles and repair techniques.
• Ability to safely and effectively use common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor plumbing issues, replacing or repairing fixtures, painting, and completing basic property repairs.
• Assist experienced maintenance technicians and property leadership with more complex repairs, installations, and maintenance projects.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, building systems, facilities, and grounds to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to help keep equipment and building systems operating safely and efficiently.
