Job summary

Gulf Coast JFCS seeks a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment across Pinellas and Pasco County locations. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and multi-trade expertise, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and plastering tasks.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least three years as a journeyman craftsman in multiple trades (or Vo-Tech journeyman with certification).

Qualifications

• Three or more years proven experience as a journeyman level craftsman in building trades or Vo-Tech journeyman with certification.
• Able to work on-call when needed.
• Must have a valid driver license and auto insurance.
• Must be bondable and insurable by the Authority's fleet insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment.
• Provide maintenance for Pinellas and Pasco County sites.
• Practice safety precautions at all times.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, plastering and other systems.
• Repair and replace building surfaces, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
• Utilize tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot maintenance problems.
• Adhere to local, state, and national codes for installations and repairs.
• Support off-shift and weekend emergency maintenance coverage as scheduled.
