Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician & Grounds keeping to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on our facilities, ensuring that our equipment and systems are functioning at optimal levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in residential painting, electrical work and basic plumbing.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on buildings, structures, and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
- Use logic controllers and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and reducing costs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform residential painting tasks, including preparation, application, and cleanup.
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations and management, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Requirements
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Grounds keeping experience
- Experience with residential painting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with facilities maintenance and upkeep.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electrical work including experience with programmable logic controllers
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Experience in residential painting and construction painting
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and HVAC systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Valid driver's license and ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
