Job summary

CLS Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities in top condition and deliver superior resident experiences. You will perform daily walks, coordinate service requests with leasing, and ensure safety and cleanliness across offices, exteriors, basements, and common areas.

The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, plus carpentry and groundskeeping skills. We emphasize teamwork, leadership, and a proactive, solutions-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Proficient working knowledge of basic building HVAC systems.
• Proficient working knowledge of basic building electrical systems.
• Proficient working knowledge of basic plumbing systems.
• Experience with make-ready unit preparation.
• Construction skills including sheetrock patching, texture, painting, flooring, and carpentry.
• Experience with groundskeeping and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to visitors, prospects, residents, and community members.
• Maintain property cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal across all areas.
• Complete work orders promptly and document damages with photos as needed.
• Collaborate with leasing to coordinate service requests and resident satisfaction.
• Comply with codes, safety regulations, and maintain an organized maintenance shop.
