Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Florida is seeking a maintenance associate to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across the property while promoting Family Style Service through positive attitude.

The role includes general facilities upkeep, repairing gaming table layouts, and routine maintenance of HVAC, alarms, and generators, with guidance from supervisors. Candidates should have basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Two years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
• Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities on property and the property itself. Perform maintenance with guidance from supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
• Basic Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. Perform routine maintenance on the systems with instruction from supervisory personnel.
• Ability to perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property with guidance from supervisory personnel.
• Follow outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests. Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
