Location: Houston, TX – 250 Gellhorn Dr

Schedule: Full-time | On-site | Day Shift + Flexibility Required

Pay: $30–$40/hour (based on experience and license level)

At Liquid Environmental Solutions, we don’t just treat wastewater — we protect water, health, and the environment every day. We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with a City of Houston Grade 2 Stationary Engineer License to support our Houston plant operations.

This is a high-responsibility, mechanically focused role where your license is a requirement for operational compliance. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical challenges, and ensuring critical systems run safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Boiler System Oversight: Operate and maintain high-pressure boiler systems in compliance with City of Houston regulations; perform routine checks, minor repairs, and lead safety inspections.
  • Mechanical Systems Maintenance: Diagnose and repair plant equipment including pumps, motors, air compressors, valves, tanks, and flowmeters; conduct preventive maintenance on infrastructure.
  • Treatment Equipment Operation: Learn and maintain DAF units, centrifuges, sludge systems, and level indicators; participate in water sampling and waste processing.
  • Electrical and Fabrication: Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, interact with PLC panels, and weld or fabricate structural components as needed.
  • Facility Maintenance & Support: Collaborate with team members to maintain uptime and safety; assist with environmental safety initiatives and structural upkeep.

What You’ll Need

  • City of Houston Grade 2 Stationary Engineer License (REQUIRED)
  • 3–5 years experience in mechanical maintenance in industrial, wastewater, or utility settings
  • Strong skills in pump/valve maintenance, electrical systems, and piping infrastructure
  • Welding/fabrication experience preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with sludge processing, DAF systems, or similar wastewater tools is a plus
