Maintenance Technician – Genesis Health Clubs (Louisville, KY)

Pay: $50,000 – $60,000+ per year
(Higher compensation for HVAC-certified candidates with commercial experience)

Job Summary:

Genesis Health Clubs is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the repair, maintenance, and operation of our Louisville fitness facilities. This is a hands-on, full-time role that requires experience with HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical repairs, and fitness equipment maintenance. Pool maintenance experience is a strong bonus. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance checks on all club facilities and equipment
  
  
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (commercial experience preferred)
  
  
• Handle electrical and mechanical repairs across the facility
  
  
• Maintain and repair gym equipment (cardio, strength, free weights)
  
  
• Support pool and spa maintenance as needed
  
  
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager on priorities and projects
  
  
• Ensure club safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met
  
  
• Manage contractor and vendor work when necessary
  
  
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven HVAC experience (required)
  
  
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  
  
• Experience with fitness equipment maintenance
  
  
• Pool maintenance knowledge is a plus
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
