Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Goodyear, AZ location. You will perform routine inspections, maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.

The role includes basic janitorial duties and collaboration with contractors as needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, hands-on maintenance experience, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• -Experience in building maintenance, facilities or related field.
• -Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• -Able to read manuals, blueprints and work orders.
• -Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• -Physically capable of lifting heavy objects or working in tight spaces.
• -Familiar with safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with building renovations, installations or furniture assembly.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary.
• Collaborate with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs.
