Position Purpose And Summary

The Maintenance Technician position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates. The role involves ensuring all property equipment functions properly, premises are maintained in pristine condition, and guest rooms are in good repair. Tasks outlined in the Green Shield Binder and directed by management or the Regional Asset Manager must be completed timely and according to company standards.

Major / Key Job Duties
  • Provide excellent experience for guests and associates.
  • Work independently to perform all duties satisfactorily within company standards.
  • Assist with guest requests diligently following company policies.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the premises pristine, including outdoor areas and snow/ice removal where applicable.
  • Complete repairs and preventive maintenance as per work orders and Green Shield procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, deficiencies, and safety checks.
  • Organize and safeguard tools and maintain work areas according to standards.
  • Ensure fire safety equipment is operational and compliant with regulations.
  • Follow safety policies including OSHA and ADA standards.
  • Assist with emergency responses and coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
Other Duties
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining hotel common areas as assigned.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by management.
