Job summary

Audubon Area Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance worker to perform routine maintenance, lawn care, and minor repairs at Head Start locations in Owensboro, KY. The role is full-time, 1st shift, with travel for day trips as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a technical trade certification preferred.

Starting wage is $18.51 per hour, with eligibility for benefits. Reports to the Facility Maintenance Specialist. Relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience preferred for the role.
• Technical school diploma or current license/certification in a skilled trade (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) or related field preferred.

Job Skills / Requirements

Starting wages $18.51 hourly. Will perform routine maintenance, lawn maintenance, and minor repair work at Head Start locations. Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and vehicle maintenance experience is preferred. Working 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 260 days per year.

A high school diploma or GED with three years of experience is required. Technical school diploma or current license/certification in a skills trade (i.e. electric, plumbing, HVAC) or related field is preferred.
