Job summary

Target Hospitality seeks a Maintenance I to perform routine and extensive preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and utilities in New Mexico. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and follows a six-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation, with duties aligned to safety policies and SOPs.

Primary tasks include preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and responding to emergencies. The position requires ability to work in challenging environments and travel as needed to support

Qualifications

• Adheres to OSHA guidelines and safety practices.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and systems.
• Understanding plumbing systems and maintenance.
• Experience with lighting fixtures and emergency exit lighting.
• Familiar with chemical materials and safety hazards.
• Ability to calculate material quantities and measurements.
• Techniques for lifting, moving, and storing tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety culture and follow all SOPs and policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment.
• Repair, modify, install, and maintain building structures and equipment (roofs, HVAC, generators).
• Complete inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Repair electronics, painting, HVAC, carpentry, and wiring.
• Maintain refrigerators, TVs, A/Cs, and lift stations.
• Remove blockages in restrooms and kitchens to restore flow.
• Patch and paint sheetrock and drywall.
• Replace ceiling tiles and grid systems.
• Refurbish chairs, tables, doors, windows, counters.
• Ensure safety equipment is in place and functional.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal.
• Provide world-class customer service.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in emergency procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned.
