Job summary

Liberty Energy Services, LLC in Henderson, CO is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Field to perform preventative maintenance, basic engine and transmission repairs, and assist higher-level technicians. The role requires understanding of PM schedules, fluid types, electrical concepts, and safe operation of equipment.

Candidates should have limited prior experience, a basic tool set, and a strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and customer focus.

Qualifications

  • 1 year or less at Liberty or of related industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Must follow all safety regulations and standards.
  • Explain differences in PM schedules.
  • Explain what fluid type is used in engines and transmissions.
  • Identify greasing points for PM service on trailers and tractors.
  • Check u-joints and identify replacements when needed.
  • Demonstrate basic equipment knowledge (battery disconnect, power up/down, starting procedures).
  • Engage power take off on a tractor correctly.
  • Understand hydraulic system basics and failure points.
  • Check fluid levels after PM and identify readings for run vs no-run states.
  • Identify Liberty equipment by name.
  • Understand unit mounted tools and their use in PM service.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately.
  • Understand gauges and readings for each equipment type.
  • General knowledge of electrical: use a multimeter to check voltage/resistance.
