Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services seeks a Maintenance Associate to perform routine and extensive maintenance on a Distribution Center building and assist in warehouse tasks. You will work on skilled trades including painting, electrical, plumbing and carpentry to keep the facility in good condition.

The role requires one year of semi-skilled maintenance or warehouse experience, knowledge of basic hand tools, and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a semi-skilled worker in basic building maintenance trades or warehouse work.
• Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including off-shift hours and weekends.
• Must be able to operate forklift, boom lift, light truck and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of building exterior/interior.
• Maintain and repair dock equipment (dock levelers, doors, locks).
• Assist semi-skilled tasks in upkeep of the Distribution Center.
• Assist with basic building trades: painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith and carpentry.
• Install and maintain furniture, shelving, racks and fixtures.
• Keep warehouse shelving and racks clean and organized.
• Support grounds keeping and general cleanup; report hazards.
• Participate in regular safety checks to ensure a safe facility.
