Job summary

Biamp is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment used in speaker production. You will support CNC woodworking equipment, coating and finishing systems, compressed air, magnetizers, and related assets, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime.

You will collaborate with Production and Facilities teams, document repairs and calibrations, and drive ongoing improvements in safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with an additional 2 years in a technical training program.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on maintenance and repair of PCBA and sheet metal equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and circuit diagrams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Willingness to alternate schedules and overtime as needed.
• Customer service orientation and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery and facility systems to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and document repairs on production equipment including Wood CNC routers and related systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical failures.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production Management and downtime activities.
• Liaise with Facilities and contractors on utility and infrastructure projects.
• Track preventive maintenance and repair metrics; maintain calibration records.
