Job summary

• Prior work experience in a construction, industrial, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Repairing/maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists other Maintenance Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment by supporting equipment repair and maintenance activities.
• Works collaboratively to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintains and repairs building facilities, including plumbing systems, general construction projects, painting and facility upkeep.
• Operates material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment safely and effectively.
• Assists with the use, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, following company policies and safety regulations.
• Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, dock and electronic equipment, HVAC units, facilities and grounds equipment.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans and maintaining accountability and integrity.
• Completes work assignments and priorities, communicates progress, and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
