Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Maintenance Tech at Decker Lofts in Austin, TX. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, and responding to customer service requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal Certification preferred and must be attained within 90 days of hire.
• 3–4 years of maintenance experience with knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned.
• Assist with storage area maintenance and refurbishment of apartments per standards.
• Walk the property daily to maintain curb appeal and respond to safety concerns.
• Handle service requests, coordinate with vendors, and support on-call duties.
