O.Henry Hotel in Greensboro, NC seeks a friendly, energetic Engineer/Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality team. You will support mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, ensuring guest comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, coordinating with vendors, diagnosing issues, and keeping safety and cleanliness at high standards. Schedule includes weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Hours: Full Time

What are the responsibilities of an Engineer?

• Communicate clearly and perform consistently following the mission and values of the organization in our enthusiastic work environment
• Follow our engineering systems and perform regular preventative maintenance ensuring that all data is logged properly
• Promptly handle all guest and staff member requests that relate to equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Work directly with vendors to establish highly coordinated efforts
• Maintain accurate ordering and stocking levels
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to efficiently perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report any unusual situations
• Passionately maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times
