Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) for industrial manufacturing environments. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment, with involvement in start-up projects and equipment upgrades.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs, perform welding and fabrication as needed, and support operations on all shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and repair industrial motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and other industrial control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, steam systems, air compressors, and other industrial plant utilities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other industrial automation systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Rebuild and fabricate components for industrial production equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities.
• Assist production operators and other Maintenance Team members with troubleshooting equipment and repairs.

The Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrialmanufacturing equipment and plant systems. • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Maintenance Team.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support plant operations.
