Job summary

Htprof is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanic) in Columbus, OH for direct-hire employment. The role covers daily maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems and requires hands-on troubleshooting across plant equipment.

You will assist operators and mechanics, participate in startup projects, and support installations as needed. On-site work with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of PLC programming.
• Fundamental knowledge of Electrical power - voltages, amps etc.
• Read schematic drawings and installing electrical equipment as per the schematic.
• Calibrate drives and equipment such as meters, temperature controllers, level controllers and Servo controllers.
• Test, repair electrical systems and devices, such as motors, switches, solenoids, etc.
• 2) Mechanical:
• a) Be able to do Welding, operate TIG/MIG/Plasma cutters, Grinders, Drills, and basic machining.
• b) Carry out Pipe Fabrication and layout as per drawings
• c) Understand and repair mechanical equipment such as Pumps, seals, Hydraulic machines, Gearboxes, Valves, air compressors, boilers.
• d) Should have fundamental knowledge of lubricating oils and greases.

The Electro-Mechanic will be responsible for daily maintenance and non-routine maintenance of equipment and facility. The position will be required to perform any and all maintenance activities for both electrical and mechanical systems. Assists equipment Operators and Mechanics in the operation and troubleshooting of plant equipment and systems. The position will also be required to perform and support any and all project installation and start-up throughout the plant on an as needed basis.
