Job summary

Weller Truck Parts in Michigan is seeking a maintenance technician to respond to and repair electrical, air, and hydraulic equipment across our facilities. You will help perform the preventive maintenance program and process maintenance work orders, including parts inventory and safety compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Trade school diploma preferred.
• 2+ years of job-related experience in manufacturing setting.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with parts diagrams and troubleshooting steps.

Responsibilities

• Responds to, diagnoses, and repairs maintenance issues of electrical, air, and hydraulic equipment, machinery, and systems across the facilities.
• Assists or performs the preventative maintenance schedule of electrical, air and hydraulic equipment, machinery and systems.
• Processes maintenance work orders and inventory control of parts used.
• Conducts routine maintenance inspections and identifies potential problems.
• Supports energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Maintains records to meet OSHA and local regulations.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows PPE guidelines.
• Maintains regular attendance and performs other duties as assigned.
