Job summary

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will help maintain our 125,000 square foot facility, performing electrical and plumbing tasks, and assisting master mechanics with career growth opportunities.

We offer two shifts, first and second, with competitive wages starting at $20.50–$24.00 per hour plus shift differentials for the second shift. Our benefits package includes holidays, PTO, 401(k) with match, health coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to push up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
• Water treatment background is preferred.
• Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance: Perform all minor and major electrical maintenance tasks using appropriate tools. Work with systems ranging from 110v single-phase to 480-volt 3-phase.
• Plumbing maintenance: Conduct minor & major plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, trenching, and replacing hoses.
• Industrial machinery: Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair defective equipment promptly and efficiently.
• Work Orders: Swiftly respond to work order requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
• General maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to support the overall function and safety of our facility.
