Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician specializing in Electrical/PLC to ensure optimal equipment performance and contribute to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have a background in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical engineering along with practical experience in troubleshooting and maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to work independently and positively impact production quality and yield.

Qualifications

• Minimum ITE or NITEC in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical engineering required.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledgeable in types of water pumps and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment as per manufacturer's manuals.
• Plan and organize preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults in electrical and pneumatic systems.

Maintenance Technician (Electrical/PLC)

Responsibilities:

• Preventative maintenance on all the equipment in plant as per instruction manufactures manuals
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic faults
• Continual improve manufacturing process and equipment capability to achieve higher production yield and quality.
• Plan and organize preventive maintenance programme for manufacturing equipment
• Perform machine maintenance and repair

Requirements:

• Min ITE or NITEC in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical engineering
• Possess 2 year of working experience in manufacturing industry
• Knowledge type of water pumps, Programmable Logic Controller & Touch Panel
• Positive working attitude and able to work independently.
