Job summary

Iowa Aluminum Inc is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to keep our mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems running smoothly on site. You will interpret complex electrical schematics, troubleshoot faults, and implement durable fixes while coordinating with operations to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on expertise with motors, drives, pumps, and grinders, plus welding and fabrication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret wire diagrams and drawings related to electrical systems.
• Test, check, troubleshoot, and repair faulty electrical components.
• Develop root-cause analysis and long-lasting solutions to recurring malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and related facilities.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and diagrams for installed systems.
• Perform PM tasks and document findings; identify parts and processes needed for corrective actions.
