Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of trade school or qualified work experience.
• Ability to use and understand electrical test equipment.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to minimize equipment downtime.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Arc and gas welding, cutting, brazing, silver and soft soldering.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for machines and buildings.
• Troubleshoot electrical A/C and D/C circuits using electrical metering equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic systems.
• Provide positive feedback for corrective action to improve equipment reliability.
• Repair production equipment to minimize production interruption.
• Maintain buildings and grounds as needed.
